MCD5 & MWD5 & MWD5-V broken switch

BROKEN SWITCH - MCD5, MWD5 & MWD5-V

All Coldbuster MCD5 & MWD5 & MWD5-V thermostats are covered by a three-year warranty that applies from original date of purchase.

The switch on the back of the MCD5, MWD5 & MWD5-V must be aligned with the hole of the back plate or it could be damaged whilst being attached. Applying force whilst attaching the thermostat with the switch not aligned will break the switch and will render the thermostat inoperable.

Physical damage caused during installation is not covered by the product warranty so a replacement thermostat will need to be purchased.

Please ensure that your electrician takes extra care when installing the thermostat being sure to align the switch correctly and making sure not to apply pressure on the screen when installing.
