Underfloor Heater Diagnostic Procedure

Underfloor Heater Diagnostic Procedure

If the underfloor heating is not warming up then please carry out the following tests
  1. Turn the thermostat into Manual mode & raise the heating to 40°C & leave it on for 12 hours. Manual mode overrides any schedules or other settings that may impact the heating. If you are still unable to feel the heat then there may be an issue with the heater.
  2. To diagnose whether the heater is faulty an electrician will need to attend to the site to complete some electrical tests.
  3. Coldbuster Support will need to send you a “Thermostat & Floor Heating Test Sheet” that will need to be completed by a qualified electrician. Please note that you are responsible for the cost of an electrician to attend to do this test however if it is found to be a faulty product that has failed during the warranty period, Coldbuster will reimburse this expense.
  4. Send the completed test sheet back to support@coldbuster.com.au.

If the issue is found to be a faulty product that has failed during the warranty period Coldbuster will refund the original purchase price of the underfloor heater and the electrical service charges.

If the issue is found to be a faulty product that has failed outside of the warranty period then Coldbuster will provide advice about a replacement product that can be purchased.
